Hey, I'm Alan, a designer from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently working as a freelance design partner for startups and small companies.

This means I handle everything from early concept to shipped product, working across design tools to move fast without sacrificing quality.

Before going freelance, I spent several years at The Black Tux growing from junior to senior designer within their creative studio. I worked on pretty much everything you can imagine: brand design, campaign design, landing pages, packaging, product design, production design, all of it! Before that, I worked for a marketing agency called Cashmere Agency and an experiential agency called Pen&Public. That range is what pushed me toward being a generalist, and these days I'm focused on channeling that into becoming a partner for companies that need a pair of design eyes.
